Protecting Your Home From Wildfires

Don't wait for your neighbor's house to burn down before you start thinking about protecting your home from wildfires.

Not all wildfires are predictable. Some fires need just the right set of circumstances to get started, and when they are ignited, they quickly spread out of control.

As an initial precaution, take a walk around your house and inspect the perimeter for dead brush or vegetation. Cut away trim limbs and branches from your roof line. Clean out the gutters. These are but a few of common-sense preventative measures you can take. Moreover, are you prepared to take emergency action in the event of a wildfire? Have you inspected the interior of your home for fire safety?

i agree thatr people need to do their part to protect themselves. i have worked with a company that provides these types of services for hi end homes. there are professional and really know what they are doing - my local fire marshall thinks it great to finally see someone who understands what we all face as homeowners
