Unique Homes in Land Park, Sacramento

Whenever I travel, I always shoot photographs of unique homes but for some reason, I have neglected to include a showcase of unique Land Park homes, which are right under my nose.

You can find photographs of beautiful homes from all over the country on About.com but none of Land Park, Sacramento. As a resident of Land Park, I could be a bit biased, but I believe the capitol of California has a worthy collection of homes that deserve publicity.

I spent a few hours late one autumn afternoon taking pictures of these homes, just as the sun was beginning to sink on the horizon, lending a warm glow over rooftops and highlighting the brightly colored leaves of our fall season. In addition, I've noted history of these Land Park homes, including market values and the last sales date data.

You won't find homes like these in newer subdivisions such as Orange County, for example. Many are Tudors, Craftsman Bungalows, Cape Cods and Colonials, built in the 1920s through the 1940s. I hope you enjoy this photo gallery of homes in Sacramento . . . read more about Land Park homes.
