Washington Mutual is Located in 36 States

Washington Mutual got its start in Seattle in 1889 and is still based in Seattle.

Even though Washington Mutual is headquartered in the Northwest, it has branched out to 36 states and is prominent in California. I rely on Washington Mutual, not for its banking products, believe it or not, but for its digital temperature monitor. It's not that I have anything against Washington Mutual, because it's a wonderful bank and many of my buyers obtain their mortgage loans at WaMu. I simply prefer to bank at my credit union.
