Are Those Under-Market-Value Homes for Real?

Buyer radar goes up when a home priced under market value comes on the market.

They circle the home like sharks and wonder how much lower the seller will go. In some cases, a lot lower, in others, not so much because the sellers may have priced it in anticipation of multiple offers. It's enough to leave a home buyer feeling dizzy and wondering: What's a true price and which are decoys, designed to entice buyers to pay more?

The listing price depends on a lot of criteria. For starters, is it a short sale home? Because if the seller is trying to do a short sale, the price is most likely fabricated, pulled from thin air.
