Is that Home For Sale on the Internet Really For Sale?
Even when I find out exactly what a home buyer wants and set up a search to send out listings directly from MLS, I still get phone calls and emails asking me about homes on the Internet that are not for sale. And that's OK, really it is, as I encourage my buyers to call me and not the listing agent. My goal is to provide superior customer service to my clients.
Sometimes, clients will drive through a neighborhood and call me about a for sale sign, or they'll see an enticing ad in the newspaper and ask me about it. I once saw a home I had once owned on one of the foreclosure websites that was listed as a pre foreclosure lead. The information was so out of date that I had bought and sold the house months prior. You never know what you are getting many times with those sites!
I know exactly what you mean. Because I get calls about those pre-foreclosures (not for sale) homes all the time!
