Who is Helping the Tenants in Foreclosure?

A growing group of unrecognized victims in the housing crisis are tenants in foreclosure.

Everybody talks about the lenders who are taking homes, the sellers who are losing their homes and even the abandoned foreclosure pets who are left behind, but few are talking about what happens to the poor tenants. The tenants who have paid their rent on time every month and had no idea the home was in foreclosure because their landlord had never told them.

What happens to the tenants in foreclosure? Who is helping them find a new place to live? Banks are evicting tenants and, in some cases, giving them very little notice. Many tenants are losing their security deposits.
