How Investors Can Buy Into a Delaware Statutory Trust

Odds are most real estate investors have never heard of a Delaware Statutory Trust.

Delaware is the second smallest state in the U.S., beat out for first position by Rhode Island. Apart from knowing Vice President-Elect Joe Biden is a senator from Delaware, what else do you know about it? Can you name the capital? Oh, don't go Googling for it; it's Dover.

Lots of good things come out of Delaware. Wesley College is located in Delaware. Delaware is known for preferential tax treatment for corporations, meaning as long as the corporation formed in Delaware does not do business in Delaware, it does not pay corporate income tax.
