When pursuing a short sale it is still important to have the advice of a real estate professional. A realtor experienced in short sales will help a seller navigate through the process, file the proper paperwork, negotiate with the lender, and make sure that the lender provides a written deficiency waiver as part of the process. If you find yourself at risk of an imminent foreclosure, please seek out the advice of a real estate professional.
