Should You Buy a Home on the Internet?

Web sites such as Twitter are all abuzz about Internet home buying.

But should you buy a home online? It's possible, you know. You can sign an offer electronically. Wire funds to title. Rely on digital photographs that are emailed to you. If you aren't getting a loan, you don't need to appear in person to sign loan documents. But unlike buying a pair of shoes online, if the home isn't a good fit after you receive it, there is no sending it back.
