Here is Why REO Agents May Not Return Your Phone Call

Many home buyers and buyer's agents are complaining that REO agents don't call back.

It's hard for a prospective home buyer to fathom why REO agents rarely return telephone calls. Usually they call me for information and advice when they can't reach the REO agent. While it's true that I do have home phone numbers for a few Sacramento REO agents, I can generally find out what I need to know without bugging them. The one thing I can't find out is how many offers they have.

Some REO agents will tell you and some, well, won't. I don't see any violation of ethics to disclose the number of offers a bank receives, or any seller, for that matter. it would be VERY helpful if articles on about.com were dated at the top. how are we to know how outdated a post is? it could be 6 months old or 12 yrs old.

“fha loans are becoming popular again” begins one article. but how are we to know when it was written? it may have been written 10 yrs ago and doesn’t apply today.
