Agent Interference Can Stop Agents From Advising

Agents who belong to the National Association of REALTORs subscribe to a Code of Ethics that is supposed to prevent agent interference.

But in the real world, some agents might forget to ask an interested buyer or motivated seller if that person is working with an agent. Because if a person admits to an existing relationship with an agent, a REALTOR is supposed to back off. This means an agent can't give a seller who has her home listed, for example, suggestions on how to improve her home's appearance.
