Some people get caught up in buying frenzies and think that if all their friends are buying a home, by golly, they should, too.

Stability in your job, your relationships and your life can act as safeguards against an unforeseeable future . . . read more about Reasons to Not Buy a Home.

One of the main reasons for the bubble in prices was that agents told civilians that if they didn’t buy something NOW, they would miss out. Lenders pocketed points, got bailouts, agents pocketed commissions, buyers lost their shirts. It all sounded so real! Prices are actually falling, still no matter what agents try to portray. Get a graph of it and learn something and remember, statistics do not lie – a couple of sales do not make a market trend.
