When you visit the Home Buying and Selling Forum, one of the first things you notice is that real estate contracts and closings are handled very differently throughout the United States, and there's always quite a bit of interest in how the process is accomplished in "other" areas.So here's a way we can all learn about the process, but I need your input for its success. The index below is the first step in the creation of the Home Buying and Selling Closings Database.
I'd like to encourage real estate agents and experienced home buyers and sellers to submit information about typical closing scenarios in your towns and states. I've started by writing about closings in my own part of the world. I hope you'll take a few minutes and tell us about the process in your area.
