Tharp studied political science and journalism at the University of Arizona, Tucson. After joining the corporate ranks for a few years, he changed gears by helping to build a successful dot-com company from the ground up.
To be closer to family and start a mortgage career, Tharp moved to Sacramento in 2000 from Huntington Beach, CA.
But his passion is mortgages. Tharp says, "My training and expertise go far beyond just quoting you a good interest rate." He handles all types of mortgage loans at Vitek Mortgage.
