McKinley Park Rose Gardens, East Sacramento Homes

The McKinley Park rose gardens were created in 1922, according to early records; 1928 by various other reports. The gardens are home to more than 150 types of roses and encompass about an acre and a half. It is a spectacular attraction in Sacramento, featuring about 1200 roses, mostly hybrid teas. Benches are scattered throughout the rose gardens to invite visitors to relax and enjoy the beauty of this magical garden.
