This Brockway Court home is situated on the corner of Brockway and Freeport Boulevard in the highly desirable W & K College Tract, developed by pioneers W. C. Wright and Kimbrough in the 1930s. This home was built in 1943 and is known as the original home of the Raileys. It has three bedrooms, two baths, a large family room with a built-in bar that overlooks an enormous .34 acre yard.

Meticulously remodeled in 2007, the kitchen has granite and tile, and it's the only first-floor space that backs to Freeport. The formal dining room has a crystal chandelier. It also has a large entry, with a spacious living room and a fireplace.

This home sold for $715,000 in October of 2006, before the remodel, after almost a year on the market. Its owners underestimated its value as the list price started at $899,500. The sellers finally found a buyer in December of 2009 who paid $594,000.
