Vic's Ice Cream has been in business since 1947 and consistently wins awards year after year. People drive from the Sierra foothills to order ice cream sundaes on the weekends. It's sometimes hard to find a place to eat an ice cream cone inside or outside, because the line of customers at the counter is often very long and the place can get crowded. Fortunately, the neighborhood is so pretty with its tree-lined canopied streets, that you might prefer to walk around to enjoy the sights. You don't need to sit inside.
Vic's also serves lunch items such as hot dogs and grilled-cheese sandwiches. It's an era gone by that is still alive today in Land Park, Sacramento.
